Solution of non-hydrolyzed wheat proteins in their original molecular size: solubility and stability are achieved by complexation with the anion lauryl sulfate. GLUPLEX LS is a vehicle for introducing in personal hygiene formulations non-hydrolyzed, long chain wheat proteins, which are insoluble in the folded native form. These high molecular weight, high hydrophobic vegetable polymers show excellent protection against surfactant irritancy, confer smoothness to the skin and prevent swelling of the hair strand during detersion. GLUPLEX LS can replace sodium lauryl sulfate with the same detergent efficacy. It is compatible with anionic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants.

SUGGESTED USES: mild detergents for skin and hair. Low irritating household detergents.
