CHARACTERISTICS

Modified native soluble collagen obtained from insoluble collagen fibers of young healthy cattle connective tissues. By means of a delicate chemical process, part of the amide groups of asparagine and glutamine is converted into carboxyl groups. This transformation improves hydrophilicity and solubility and increases the extraction yield of the substance from the insoluble matrix; the result is a cheaper product than native collagen.
