Linear polysaccharide made of regularly repeating units of a dysaccharide composed of D-glucuronic acid bound by glycosidic linkages to N-acetylglucosamine. SODIUM HYALURONATE is able to reversibly bind a large amount of water molecules providing excellent moisturizing properties in topical skin care products.
