CHARACTERISTICS

Innovative vegetal extract obtained from common nettle leaves. This plant, widely distributed in temperate regions of both hemispheres, has been largely used in folk medicine and in cosmetics; nettle leaves contain several phytochemicals including phenolic compounds, carotenoids, chlorophyll, a carbohydrate fraction rich in pectins and hemicelluloses besides a high amount of protein substance and minerals. The extract contains the concentrated protein fraction, enzymatically hydrolyzed, with free amino acids and part of the watersoluble principles of the plant. It is indicated for the formulation of both hair and skin care cosmetics thanks to its characteristic composition.
